It looks like the Chinese company Oppo has the potential to compete seriously this year and beyond with their co-nationals Huawei and OnePlus. The mission might be difficult, but Oppo just released two jaw-dropping smartphones: Oppo Reno Ace and Oppo K5. They belong to two distinct series, although they’re under the same brand.
Oppo Reno Ace‘s probably most outstanding feature is its battery life. The phone has 65W Super VOOC fast charging set up which can completely charge the 4,000mAh battery at a very high speed.
The Reno Ace has a stunning 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which can mean room for hundreds of movies and games, and hours of music. The model is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. You can shoot selfies with the 16 MP front camera, or capture far better pics with the camera setup from the rear: 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.7 orifice. A 2MP macro lens, 8MP wide-angle lens, and 13MP telephoto lens together work very efficiently.
The Oppo Reno Ace actually comes in three models. The first has an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB Storage, having a price of around $450. The second model has 8 GB RAM and 256 GB Storage and it will be sold for $480. The last model of this series is priced at $535, which has a 12 GB RAM and 256GB Storage.
Oppo K5 is ideal for vlogging
This other gadget released by the Chinese company Oppo packs 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, a 6.4-inch OLED screen, HD+ resolution, waterdrop notch, and an in-display fingerprint scanner, just to mention a few striking aspects. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 730G chipset, and the gaming on this device should be fantastic, considering that it also features Game Boost 2.0 along with the other mentioned specs.
Oppo K5 has a 32 MP front camera, which makes it an ideal device for those vloggers who film themselves speaking about their very interesting daily habits. There’s also a quad camera on the back of this little tech beast that’s twice as powerful: 64 MP.
The gadget also packs 4,000mAh battery with 30W charging speed, which is absolutely sweet.
Oppo K5 will have prices between $265 and $350.
