Joe Rogan is one of the most famous (or infamous) personalities in entertainment. Rogan and his podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience” have become a lightning rod of controversy given his views and some of the guests he has on.
Rogan, however, ins’t the only notable person in his family. A quick dive into Rogan’s family tree reveals several interesting people, some of which you may not expect to be associated with the controversy magnet.
Rogan’s Parents and Siblings
Joe was born in 1967 to father Joseph Rogan, Sr. and mother Susan Lembo. The senior Rogan was a police officer. Joe has stated that his father was an abusive presence in his life until his mother divorced him. However, according to Joseph Rogan Sr. and Joe Rogan’s half-sister Bridget Rogan Carselda, these allegations are false. Rogan’s other sister, Rosa Rogan Lunelli has voiced support for her half-sister and father’s side. Rogan also has a younger sister named Laura.
Rogan’s Rock Star Cousins
Perhaps the most noteworthy relatives of Joe Rogan are two cousins that he has never actually met: Gerard and Mikey Way, lead singer and bassist of the band My Chemical Romance. The Way brothers are first cousins (once removed) from Rogan. Despite being first cousins, Rogan and the Way brothers have separately stated that they’ve never met and have no effect on one another’s lives.
Children
Joe Rogan has three children. Kayja Nichole Rose Rogan is Joe’s oldest stepdaughter, born in 1996. Despite being his stepdaughter, Joe refers to her as simply his daughter indicating that there’s a strong bond. Her biological father is R&B singer Kevin Conner.
In 2008, Joe and his wife Jessica welcomed their first child together, Lola. A year after his wedding to Jessica, Joe and his wife welcomed another daughter named Rose in 2010. As they are minors, his two youngest daughters’ private lives are kept out of the spotlight.
Spouse
In 2009 Rogan married Jessica Ditzel in 2009. Her father is musician Jeff Conrad Ditzel. She met Joe Rogan when she was working as a cocktail waitress. After entering the relationship with Rogan she pivoted her career to modeling. Since having children she prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
