Zelda Breath of the Wild 2: Release Date Update – Nintendo Switch Pro launch title?

The gamers highly anticipate Zelda Breath of the Wild 2, and many are wondering how it will evolve in the near future. Fans are waiting for Zelda BotW 2 to come in a version for Nintendo Switch, and the expectations regarding this new version are pretty high.

On Nintendo Jobs website, the developers of the game shocked everyone when they explained how Breath of the Wild 2 would surpass the original. They said that the new Zelda game would provide “new gaming experiences that exceed those of the previous game”. Officials of Nintendo also said:

“For now we can not comment much about the game, but our goal is to offer new gaming experiences that exceed those of the previous game, so we will need the skills of many people to create this new game.
“That’s the reason we are looking for new terrain designers at Nintendo.”

2020 release date for the new game

As fans are eagerly waiting for an update of the game, a notorious Youtuber nicknamed HMK is sure that Zelda BotW 2 will have a 2020 release date. But the big news is this: the Youtuber also tells us that it will be a Nintendo Switch Pro launch title.

His argument was that the past two Zelda games have both been released exactly on launch days for new Nintendo consoles. And he might be right! Looking back in time, The Link’s Awakening Remake came out on the same day as the Switch Lite, while Breath of the Wild was a Switch launch title.

Trailer shows a darker game than expected

Announced as a surprise reveal at the end of E3 Nintendo Direct, BoTW 2 looks to be a grisly looking game which can frighten anybody:

Therefore, the music and the environment are sinister. Zelda and Link are encountering a terrifying mummy, which they have to deal with.

What Zelda fan wouldn’t be excited about all this info? Would you buy a new console to play this game?
