Windows 10 20H1 and 20H2: What Are Their Features and Why Are They Important for Us?

There is so little time left before we get the Windows 10 November 2019 Update. We don’t expect it to be that major, it will only come with some minor improvements, but nothing much when it comes to new features.

But if we are to talk about Windows 10 20H1 and 20H2, well, that’s a brand new story. These updates come packed with new features, which are bound to improve the Windows 10 experience.

We have written this article to tell you what are the new features coming for us.

Windows 10 Cloud Reset

With this one, you won’t need to use the existing OS files and the USB sticks to install Windows 10. You will be able to get it from the cloud. You just need to make sure that you have a good internet speed connection.

In order to use the Windows 10 Cloud Reset, go to Start, then to Settings, then to Update & Security, then to Recovery. Select Keep my files or Remove everything – it really depends on what you want to do. Select Cloud download or Local reinstall in order to complete the process.

Chat-based Cortana

This brand new Cortana will enable you to type in or speak natural, logical questions, and get good answers.  And it is all thanks to the advancements which were made by Microsoft Research AI Center, which gave us better speech and language models.

You can also change the default position of the chat window, and allow dark and light themes in Windows.

The bandwidth limits

You can control the bandwidth used for downloading Windows 10 update as value for background and foreground downloads.

Connect network cameras

You will also be able to pair the network camera that you use for security to your Windows 10 PC. you can use your PC camera app in order to take photos and stream videos from your network camera.

No password on Windows 10

It is not practical to keep typing your Microsoft Account every single time you start your computer. But you can change that. all you need to do was go to Settings, to Accounts, to Sign-in options.
