Will Xbox Scarlett Surpass PlayStation 5 in Both Price and Performance? What a Gaming Specialist says

2020’s Christmas could be the best Christmas since the dawn of time. Microsoft and Sony are releasing their next-generation consoles, and thus the ultimate battle between American and Asian gaming console manufacturers shall begin. Both Xbox Scarlett (aka Xbox Two) and PlayStation 5 are expected to provide out of this world features, but we have to admit that pricing also plays a significant role when choosing to buy such a piece of high-tech.

Now, we have the big news: Xbox Scarlett will be cheaper and better than its biggest rival PlayStation 5, according to Microsoft.

Phil Spencer himself made the announcement

For those who don’t know, Phil Spencer is the head of Xbox and he leads the global creative and engineering teams responsible for gaming at Microsoft. He suggested very clear that Xbox Scarlett will surpass PS5 in both price and performance:

I would say a learning from the Xbox One generation is we will not be out of position on power or price. If you remember the beginning of this generation we were a hundred dollars more expensive and, yes, we were less powerful. And we started Project Scarlett with this leadership team in place with a goal of having market success

We’re all-in on Project Scarlett and I want to compete, and I want to compete in the right ways which is why we’re focused on cross-play and backward compatibility

There you have it, crystal clear. Sony’s console is expected to have outstanding features like a virtual assistant, 8K support, high-speed loading and downloading of the games, haptic controllers, and many more. Well, it looks like Xbox Scarlett will be capable of even more impressive tech stuff than that.

Of course, you may be skeptical after reading all this, saying that everybody can have the urge of overrating its creations, but only time will time for sure. Just make sure you’ve prepared that letter for Santa Claus in 2020.
