BlizzCon 2019 has been unfolding these days, providing some awesome footage to the public regarding gaming. Diablo 4 is one of the most expected games, and fans now have another fair reason to be excited. The latest installment of the Diablo series has been presented with a brand new gameplay trailer, and it looks great and terrifying in a positive sense.
The battleground looks like an apocalyptic landscape from nuclear war movie scenes. The tension, the battles, and the monsters are horrendous. It’s a matter of life and death, good and evil, where you have to fight your way through dark forces. Here’s the trailer:
Three classes are shown in the game, along with their abilities: barbarian, sorceress, and druid.
The attributes of the classes
News released by Activision Blizzard during Friday’s opening ceremony tells us a bit about the attributes of the three classes:
The Barbarian: it uses a new and powerful combat system called Arsenal. This allows the player to carry and switch fast between different weapons at a time, and by assigning them to individual attacks.
The Druid: this is a powerful shapeshifter which has the ability to transform easily between werewolf, werebear, and human. It can unleash the power of nature’s fury on the forces of Hell.
The Sorceress: it shapes the elements to destroy foes by gathering flaming meteors and pull them upon the victim, impaling enemies upon jagged spikes of ice, or electrocuting them. These are pretty much battle elements from Diablo II.
Unfortunately, nobody knows when Diablo 4 will hit the online and physical stores. All we know for sure is that it’s currently under development, and it’s expected for the owners of the classical consoles PS4 and Xbox One, as well as for the owners of PC. But how much can a game need to have its development finished? Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to play Diablo 4 in 2020.
