Based on its popularity and the significant income the app is making, the future looks very bright for TikTok and ByteDance. According to the data for the most downloaded app in the world revealed this year, TikTok has beat Facebook taking the second place in the rank. Although WhatsApp is still on leading in the first place of the most downloaded app, we kind of see TikTok taking over one day as its gaining on more and more ground.
TikTok might manage to surpass WhatsApp in the future, but now it is just enjoying its fame for the second place. As for us, the users, we can enjoy either of these top-rated apps whenever we please, regardless of the rank they have.
