If you thought that the good old Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare shooter is gone for good, then you’re so wrong. The developer Infinity Ward had initially planned to launch a new DLC on March 24 with a new free map for the multiplayer mode, but there is a small delay coming in the way. Therefore, the fans will only have to wait for several days more in order to get their heads on the new update.
The new map will be Khandor Hideout, and there’s always some new modes included in the upcoming update. Infinity Ward itself made the announcement on Twitter by saying:
Tonight’s scheduled title update is being delayed and is set to release in the coming days. This update includes our new Operator, Talon, new free modes, and our next free multiplayer map, Khandor Hideout. Please stay tuned for more details and updates on release timing!
The new map is a Syrkistan location that supports 6v6 squad play, and features spaces perfect for snipers, shotguns, and SMGs.
New operator
A brand new operator is included in the upcoming update, as well: his name is Talon. It will be exciting to see him in action.
Although the game is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, it’s good to know what configuration your gaming rig needs if you’re willing to play the game. Let’s see the minimum requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 7 64-Bit
- Processor: Intel Core i3-3225 of 3.30GHz or equivalent
- Memory: 8 GB of RAM
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 of 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 of 2GB
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Sound Card: DirectX 11 Compatible
- Additional Notes: storage space needed may change over time.
Being released last year in September, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is an excellent option for those who enjoy a realistic and challenging military shooter.
