The Elder Scrolls is a massive name in gaming, and the series had provided several games which you would consider taking with you on a desolate place with no other humans around. Fans of the series have been speculating how the franchise will evolve, and the new The Elder Scrolls 6 comes with new challenges to be faced by the players.
The software engineers from Bethesda are currently working on The Elder Scrolls 6, as well as at other upcoming exciting games – Fallout 76 and Starfield.
Release date
Fans of The Elder Scrolls have pretty much to wait until the next game from the series arrive. This is what Bethesda’s director and executive producer Todd Howard suggested since he said that the highly anticipated Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield would not be subjects of debating during either 2018 or 2019 E3 events.
Where will it be the playground?
Todd Howard said in an interview that the team had settled the location, but he refused to divulge it.
We can assume Elder Scrolls VI will be set in the Tamriel continent because that was the case for all the other games of the series. Perhaps players will get the chance to explore Valenwood, or Black Marsh finally.
VR version of the game?
Probably this is the biggest news regarding Elder Scrolls VI. We can truly expect Bethesda to release a VR version since it already has done the same for another one of its games – Skyrim. Speaking of Skyrim, that game had received a new engine in 2011. Therefore, we can also hope to see a new game engine even in the next Elder Scrolls.
We even have a trailer for Bethesda’s new game, which was released during E3 2018. It doesn’t say much, but at least we can be sure the game is on its way:
