The Circle is a reality show available on Netflix. The first season came out on January 1, 2020, and ended on January 15, 2020. As the show was a success, fans are wondering when The Circle Season 2 is coming out.
Like any reality show, The Circle is full of plots and twists, from friendships to betrayals and a lot more play. The good news is that season 2 is on the way, and fans are definitely ready for another show.
The Circle Season 2 Release Date
The Circle Season 2 renewal was announced in March 2020. The news hyped the fans who are now greedy for an update. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic has affected the production of the series. Therefore, the show is currently on hold.
However, the new season is going to be released next year. Although there is no official release date at the moment, we expect it to come out in March 2021.
The Circle Season 2 Cast
One reason why reality shows are so popular is because of its cast members. Besides all the drama, the cast is formed by normal people. All possible contestants follow a linear selection process, undergoing two screenings.
Although we don’t know who are the next candidates for the upcoming season, we expect Michelle Buteau to host the show. In the beginning, are only eight members; however, it can reach up to 25 participants. Once competitors are chosen, there is a preliminary round in which they need to answer questions.
Plot
Once the contestants passed the preliminary round, they are divided into different apartments in the same building. However, they are not allowed to talk to each other. The only way to get to know each other is by joining The Circle. However, in the virtual world, you can be whoever you want to be. Therefore, contestants can create fake profiles. What is fake? What is the real personality? The first season was powerful, and we can’t wait to see the next one.
