Steam Offers Two More Exciting Games for Free

As it’s highly recommended to practice social distancing as much as possible in this tough period, various online services are jumping in to lend us a hand. There’s no need to explain why, because if you weren’t trapped in a cave, you know for sure what’s going on in the world and especially in Europe and the USA. Steam is now offering two more free games for the players to spend their time with, and they are some pretty interesting titles.

The Japanese game developer and publisher Square Enix is joining a lot of other companies that are offering free content to the players. Thus, you can now grab a pair of Tomb Raider-related games: the Tomb Raider reboot from 2013 and ‘Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris’.

Available until March 24

You better hurry up if you’re willing to catch the offer since it expires in 3 days. But if you don’t know anything about the two games, we’re here to shed some light on the mystery.

Tomb Raider (2013)

It is the tenth title in the Tomb Raider franchise and operates as a reboot that remakes the origins of Lara Croft. Tomb Raider is put on Yamatai, an island from which Lara must save her friends and escape while being chased by a malevolent cult. The mission becomes more difficult since she is untested and not yet the battle-hardened explorer she was in other titles of the series.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris:

This game is the sequel to the 2010 title ‘Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light’, and also the second installment in Lara Croft spin-off series. ‘Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris’ is a non-linear “arcade-inspired” game with a fixed isometric camera that is similar to Tomb Raider: The Prophecy for Game Boy Advance.

Most likely, other gaming networks will also offer free titles for gamers to enjoy, but let’s hope that we’ll all be fine and healthy.
