Sophie Turner Suffers an Injury While Filming for X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Being among the cast of a movie like X-Men: Dark Phoenix is surely the dream of many actors. However, even if Sophie Turner seems to love her role as Jean Grey / Phoenix, she had to face some literally painful moments while filming.

While recording footage for a movie scene that involved a stunt, Sophie broke her leg. On an episode of “Stuntmen React” on the Corridor Crew’s YouTube channel, Parkour master and stuntman Jesse LaFlair was present. He spoke about Dark Phoenix, and he shared the terrible news of Sophie Turner’s stunt scene that led to her double breaking a leg. It happened when a roof was double rolled down for a stunt.

Sophie Turner is only 24 years old, and her real name is Sophie Belinda Jonas. She’s an English actress best known for portraying Sansa Stark in the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones. That performance earned Sophie a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2019 for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
