Samsung Presents its Latest Curved Gaming Monitor, and it’s Outrageously Powerful

This year’s edition of Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that took place in Las Vegas has revealed to us the latest tech innovations, and we can all be no-other than proud of living in this era of humanity. As for gaming, things have gone wild in recent years: with Virtual Reality being the ultimate goal, there are also plenty of people that prefer their video games being rendered on a screen.

For the last category of people there comes Samsung – the South Korean giant bringing at CES 2020 its latest curved gaming monitor. Being dubbed the Odyssey G9, the monitor is just too powerful for the average PC.

It can run games at 240fps

With the 49-inch, the new Samsung monitor is huge and powerful enough to make your gaming experience more enjoyable than ever. The notorious South-Korean manufacturer claims the Odyssey G9 monitor to be the world’s first 1000R curved screen that has a 32:9 aspect ratio. And with its refresh rate at 240hz, the monitor will be running games at a stunning 240 frames per second (fps). Just how on Earth would you not want to be playing your favorite games on such a tech beauty?

No 4K support?

Some haters may start nagging about the fact that the Odyssey G9 isn’t capable of 4K resolution. But hey, it still has an impressive sharp resolution of 1440p. And who needs 4K resolution when you have all those mind-blowing specs mentioned above?

As for the price, Samsung didn’t mention anything, but you can imagine that the new creation won’t be cheap at all. Virtual Reality still has a lot of time before it will become a standard in gaming, so powerful gaming monitors are still very demanded on the market. The Odyssey G9 will become available in the stores at some point in the near future, so you might want to earn enough money until then.
