No more rumors, leaks, or speculations regarding the awaited Samsung Galaxy S20 series and foldable phone model, the journey has come to an end only to begin again. The Unpacked event, which took place on February 11th, revealed all there is to know about these smartphones.
Samsung, the Korean tech giant, decided to cool our jets by revealing the none other than Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip. Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ are obviously very similar; however, Galaxy S20 Ultra is a different kind of bread. Let me just tease a little bit by telling you that both phones come with a large 16GB RAM. As for the Z flip smartphone, well, this device is part of a totally different category.
Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+
In terms of the processor and MicroSD slot, all S20 models feature them. Galaxy S20 features a screen of 6.2-inches while the S20+ has a 6.7-inches display. Both models come with the same RAM; the internal storage is different. Samsung offers 128GB storage for the S20 while S20+ has more options, such as 256GB and 512GB as well.
In terms of the camera, the S20 and S20+ share different features. Galaxy S20 comes with 12MP+64MP+12MP, while the Galaxy S20+ features a depth vision camera to make it a quad camera setup. You can purchase both phones with a 4G or 5G connectivity, as for the price, S20 costs $999 while Galaxy S20+ price is $1199.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
Let’s first proceed with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, the premium phone model. S20 Ultra features Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC chipset, available only in the US. The rest of the regions get the the Exynos 990 chipset. It has a 6.9-inch display. As for the internal storage, you may choose from 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB.
Have you ever heard of a 16GB RAM smartphone before? Neither did we as the S20 Ultra is the first. Camera-wise, the Ultra model features a 108MP primary sensor, 48MP secondary sensor, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a depth sensor. The 5G version of the phone comes with a 40MP selfie camera, and it costs $1399.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip
We are not surprised to see that most of the rumors and speculations have been proved to be correct regarding the Z Flip phone. The foldable phone’s display comes with 6.7-inch Infinity Flex AMOLED. The phone does feature an Ultra-Thin Glass, and it costs $1,380.
