Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Update N98xxXXU1ATJ1 Improves Battery Autonomy!

Earlier this week, Samsung started releasing the newest October 2020 Android security patch to its flagships, including the Galaxy Note 20 lineup. Though the October 2020 security patch isn’t available in all regions at the moment, the Korean tech giant has just introduced a new software update for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and it received worldwide praise for that.

The Update

SamMobile says that the newest software update for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra ships with version N98xxXXU1ATJ1. Though it isn’t a massive update, it features various battery life improvements to the device. Aside from stepping up battery life, Samsung says that the update also improves the camera’s quality and stability and the Dark Mode.

Currently, the update is only available in Germany, but it will likely soon spread to other markets in Europe and other areas of the world.

After the update is available for your device, an update notification will automatically pop up. You can also check for the update manually by navigating your device’s Settings app and heading over to the Software update tab, and tapping Download and installing if an update is available.

For the moment, there are no known problems with the update, so if you can download it, we recommend that you do so. Samsung worked hard to tweak some aspects of the software and thus improve battery life.

If you feel skeptical about the update, you can also wait for one or two weeks before more devices receive it and see if it has any bugs or problems.

Then, once you know you are good to go, you can download and install it on your device as well!
