Rugged Cat S32 Smartphone Revealed at CES 2020 Is Perfect For the Outdoors

Were you looking for a resistant smartphone that will not break when you drop it by accident? Does your phone tend to often fall into the water? Did you forget your phone outside in extremely cold temperatures?

The Cat S32 smartphone does not care about all that since it was built to withstand nearly everything you throw at it.

British manufacturer Bullitt has revealed its new Cat smartphone at CES 2020. Their Android phone is tough, it does not need a case and it is perfect for all outdoorsy people or those that work in tough environments.

The Cat S32 is dustproof and waterproof, coming with an IP68 rating. It can be safely dropped into 1.5 meters deep water for up to 35 minutes. Tests of its toughness included dropping the smartphone from 1.8 meters onto steel, and it can withstand extreme temperatures and vibration.

The display is 5.5 inches, and it was created so that you can touch it with gloves or wet hands. The body is textured so that it enhances your grip. It also comes with a shortcut key button that you can use to trigger an app or activate Push to Talk.

As for handy apps, the Cat S32 comes with some preinstalled apps that are handy, such as the Lone Worker. This app monitors people that work alone – it tracks them and if the user does not check in regularly, the other colleagues are alerted. The other apps offered by Cat include some handy features useful for people that work in construction, farming, and even athletics.

As for the price, you can get the Cat S32 for $349. The company has not yet announced the release date and carrier details for the U.S.
