Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank got married on Friday at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England.
The bride wore a beautiful ivory satin gown by London-based label Peter Pilotto. It carried a cold-shoulder neckline, long sleeves, and a sweeping train. She went sans a veil. Instead she opted for an emerald-encrusted tiara borrowed from Queen Elizabeth II, her grandmother. The matching emerald drop earrings were specially made for her as a gift from Brooksbank.
The wedding drew familiar royals, which included Prince William and Kate Middleton, who wore a deep pink dress with three-quarter sleeves by her most favorite designer, Alexander McQueen. Her monochromatic ensemble featured burgundy heels, a matching fascinator and a clutch.
Meghan Markle, Kate’s sister-in-law arrived in a chic navy midi dress by Givenchy, the label that designed the gown for her wedding with Prince Harry, who also attended the function. The matching top she wore was by milliner Noel Stewart. She also kept her look to a single hue, with matching clutch and heels .
The other royals at the ceremony included the Queen and Prince Philip; the bride’s sister and maid of honor, Princess Beatrice; as well as their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson. Eugenie’s bridesmaids included a few members of the royal family, while Thomas Brooksbank the groom’s brother served as best man. Two of Prince William and Kate’s three children were also present in the bridal party: Princess Charlotte, 3, was one of six bridesmaids, and Prince George, 5, was a pageboy.
The Duchess of Cornwall and wife of Prince Charles, Camilla appeared to be the only member of the family not present at the event as she had a prior commitment to visit children of a school in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
The royals weren’t the only famous faces there. Demi Moore was also spotted arriving with longtime friend Eric Buterbaugh, an American perfumer and florist. Musicians Ricky Martin and Robbie Williams, actress Liv Tyler, and models Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell were also on the 850-person guest list.
The bride, 28, and groom, 31, saw each other for the first time on a ski trip in Verbier, Switzerland, in 2010. After dating for eight years, they announced their engagement in January this year in Nicaragua.
Princess Eugenie said that they met when he was 20 and Jack was 24 and fell in love as they have the same passions and the drive for life.
