Red Dead Redemption 2 New 1.14 Update Has Been Released

The developers from Rockstar Games have been very busy and willing to improve some titles. Thus, Red Dead Redemption 2 has received a new update that brings new ammo, provisions, fixes for endurance issues, and others. It’s nice to see that the long-awaited game released for nearly two weeks is seeing some interesting improvements.

Certain NVIDIA graphics card drivers had some issues which didn’t allow the game to work properly. One of the officials from Rockstar said:

We have identified an issue with certain NVIDIA graphics card drivers that cause significant stalls of several seconds on systems with 4-core and 6-core CPUs,

While we work with NVIDIA to improve driver performance, a temporary work around can be added to the launch arguments of the game to re-balance workload on the CPU cores and avoid the conditions that cause this issue.

The PC version of the game had big issues

It is already well known in the gaming community what performance issues Red Dead Redemption 2 had in its PC version. Players have been struggling with crashing of the game, freezing, and poor performance. Hopefully, these annoying aspects have been removed, but it still remains the stuttering.

Rockstar is aware of the stuttering, and it promises the release of another update which is expected to fix the issue. Also, the company says that such problem is occuring because of some issues related to combinations of Nvidia graphics drivers, Nvidia GPU cards and CPUs.

Although Red Dead Redemption 2 has been released even since last year in October for the traditional consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, plenty of fans demanded the developers to launch a version of the game for PC. Therefore, the guys from Rockstar Games complied and they had brought the last Red Dead Redemption game as a PC version by the end of October.
