Owners of Playstation Plus memberships will have an extended time for downloading Sonic Forces and Shadow of the Colossus remake, but not for the reason they hoped.
The reveal of the April PS Plus lineup won’t take place in the near future, and closer inspection shows that it’s most likely to see the new PS Plus games available to download starting from April 7.
Playstation gamers can see a silver lining only in the fact that they have extra time to download the present set of PS Plus games, which is reasonable considering that Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces have decent ratings and quickly became fan-favorites.
Shadow Of The Colossus
Shadow of Colossus’ impressive 91% Metacritic score is solid proof that it’s worth downloading and playing. The visuals are amazing, the control scheme was updated, and the game’s plot and universe quickly become addictive to most gamers.
The game’s official description sounds like this:
“One of the most highly acclaimed and beloved video games of all time, Shadow of the Colossus has been reborn for a new generation on PlayStation 4.”
Sonic Forces
Unfortunately, Sonic Forces’ Metacritic score isn’t that great, as it received an average of 57%.
The game combines 3D and 2D landscapes in a platformer style and is colorful, simple to play, and joyful.
It promises an immense improvement over past games from the Sonic franchise.
The Metacritic score isn’t entirely justified – The game would have scored a lot better had it not been for some rather dull levels that make the players use their custom character.
The game’s official description reads:
“With improved visuals, enhanced performance, and optional updated controls – the iconic PS2 adventure has been given a staggering makeover and is now more breathtaking than ever before.”
