Revealed since June, Paralives is an upcoming single-player life simulation game, developed by Alex Massé. It’s expected to become a strong competitor for The Sims; therefore, gamers are very eager to see it released. The gaming world sure needs some new life simulation titles, and Massé understood that pretty well: he seems to be working full time at Paralives, and has announced to us that plenty of fun features will be added.
But what can Paralives bring new in a world where The Sims is hugely popular? In this article, we will cover what we know until now about the game so far.
Short story mode
The game will include the following exciting features, which are probably more than enough to make the fans happy and feeling like they are in a real environment:
- Cars
- Pets
- Curved pools
- Horses
- Weather
- Houseboats
- Small boats
The action
The player will be able to build dream homes, develop characters, and run his daily life through a variety of ways with few restrictions. You may ride a horse, drive a car, drive a boat, and many others. It will be interesting to see how much restrictions will this game have by comparison with the notorious GTA series.
Mode of simulation
Open world is the way it’s played, and this gives you plenty of advantages. Let’s face it: nobody likes loading screens, and that’s why open world mode should be the best solution for all gamers. You have a full exciting world at your disposal in the game, and also you’ll get to watch pedestrians on bikes, in cars, walking on the sidewalk, and many others.
Paralives will be available for Windows through Steam and on Mac. Although we would have wanted to know more about the game, it’s nice to know the features mentioned above. And besides that, the developer will be releasing free updates once the game is out, instead of opting for DLCs.
