Need for Speed Heat Update Launched With New Content And Improvements

The latest Need for Speed Heat update was revealed recently, on January 28th. The update brings new content and improvements to the game. Here’s a message from the Need for Speed team:

“Welcome to the first update notes of 2020. You will find a detailed overview of additions and changes to the game, as well as an extensive list of bug fixes. You have been providing a lot of feedback, and reading through the below changes, you might find a few changes that you have reported yourself – we appreciate it. We’ll touch on steering wheels, tell you a bit about the chat wheel, introduce the Key to the Map, and a few other nice tweaks you haven’t heard of yet. We hope that you enjoy the update once it releases tomorrow morning European time and that it improves your experience in driving around Palm City.”

The patch comes in different sizes, such as 3.5 GB on PC, 5.65 GB on PS4, and 4.94 GB on Xbox One.

What’s new in the latest Need for Speed heat update?

The Need for Speed Heat Patch Notes 1.05 brings new steering wheels into the game such as the ones below:

  • Fanatec CSL Elite Racing Wheel (PS4, PC, XB1)
  • Thrustmaster T300RS (PS4, PC)
  • Thrustmaster TMX (Xbox, PC)
  • Logitech G29 (PS4, PC)
  • Logitech G920 (Xbox, PC)
  • Thrustmaster T150 (PS4, PC)
  • Thrustmaster TX (Xbox, PC)

As communication is the key to everything, the latest patch comes with Chat Wheel, enabling players to send messages to friends or opponents.

The latest update brings Keys to the Map into the game, which is a payable feature that shows you the locations on the in-game map, including collectibles, activities, and gas stations, except for the safe house location.

The newly available Need for Speed Heat patch has made improvements and also fixed some issues raised by players. The update brings new rewards and missions that you can enjoy playing the game. So go ahead and choose your favorite to play Need for Speed either onPS4, Xbox One, or PC.
