NBA 2K20, the basketball simulation video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, just received today a brand new update for players using Xbox One and PS4: the 1.06 which occupies over 20 GB and it brings bug fixes along with other improvements.
Mike Wang from 2K Sports provided some precious info on Twitter, declaring:
“Dear dribblers, couple small notes for patch 1.06. A few standing stepbacks were swapped out because chaining out of them was flipped.
“There’s a new standing spin retreat move (hold LS away after starting spin.) Steals shouldn’t lock you in anymore.”
You gotta love them bug fixes!
Just to name a few of the bug fixes, you should consider:
- Fixes hanging when dismissing the phone in The Neighborhood
- Fixes incorrect MyPLAYERs loading when joining friends in The Neighborhood
- Fixes users getting disconnected during timeouts in some online game modes
There are a lot more bug fixes in the patch since a moderator from the official NBA 2K Reddit page tells us that the new update is focusing a lot on removing bugs and fixing the issues regarding the teammate joining.
$250,000 is the prize for the tournament winner!
MyTEAM Unlimited tournament is hosted by 2K and players using Xbox One and PS4 can participate. 2K explains more:
“Qualifying is ongoing until January when 16 gamers per console will advance and compete in a single elimination tournament for a trip to NBA All-Star 2020 and the $250,000 grand prize,”
“The winner of last season’s NBA 2K19 tournament, Xbox One champion Dymaris Jones (SkippTooMyLou) from Detroit, defeated PS4 champion and current NBA 2K League player Christopher Anderson (TurnUpDefense) from Las Vegas to win the grand prize during NBA All-Star 2019 in Charlotte.
