The Mount & Blade game series started way back in 2008, being developed by the Turkish company TaleWorlds, and published by Paradox Interactive. The first title was a medieval action role-playing game for Microsoft Windows, and fans started to wait for a sequel several years after. They had a lot to wait because Mount & Blade 2 was announced way back in 2012, and only now it’s getting released.
Mount & Blade is now available for those willing to play it on Early Access. However, it will take around a year for us to see the final outcome of what the new game has to offer.
There’s a multiplayer mode
If you get bored of the campaign mode, where you can besiege castles, get involved in fights, or even settle down and make yourself a family, you can always go for the multiplayer mode. Challenging your friends, co-workers, or relatives is always a good idea to take advantage of as most as possible from a game.
There are four multiplayer modes available in Mount & Blade 2, and you can choose to either fight alone or have an entire army by your side.
System requirements
You need a decent configuration (at least) on your PC if you want to play Mount & Blade 2:
- Operating System: Windows 7 at 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i3-8100 4-Core of 3.6 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 4-Core of 3.1 GHz
- RAM: 6 GB
- GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
- GPU: GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7850
- HDD: 60 GB Available Space.
- DirectX 11.
The game is also available for the usual consoles PS4 and Xbox One. With the next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft arriving near the end of the current year (namely PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X), it’s highly probable that Mount & Blade 2 will also be available for them. The two upcoming consoles will feature specs not seen before on consoles, so it would be absurd for this game to not work for them.
