Might and Magic: Chess Royale Introduced By Ubisoft

The game Might and Magic is a franchise with ten titles in the series, created by New World Computing. The series is a role-playing video game, with the first title created in 1986 by New World Computing, and in 1996it became a subsidiary of The 3DO Company. The gameplay from Might and Magic is in a medieval fantasy setting combined with science fiction.

The game is presented in the first-person perspective and is giving players the control over various numbers of characters. However, the latest title from the franchise came in 2014, Might and Magic X: Legacy, and Ubisoft is trying to fill the gap time with a new entry.

If you are among the fans that have played and enjoyed Might and Magic, maybe this news will make you happy. However, the game will not return as you expected. Ubisoft is trying to fix the pause they had with the game by introducing the auto battler genre. So the high fantasy series will have a free-to-play auto-battler added.

Ubisoft Presented Might and Magic: Chess Royale

The name of the game will be Might and Magic: Chess Royale. What you will have to do now is to compete in a one-on-one match and fight against the other 99 players.

As a matter of fact, we have Jess McDonell, who is very happy and excited about the addition in the series. He says that this is the best thing that could happen with Might and Magic because the series will continue. At the same time, McDonell is also cautious because he doesn’t know if the auto-battler genre will have the best feedback from fans and players.

In the long run, we know that Might and Magic: Chess Royale is still in an early phase and accessible for players on PC, Android, and iOS. Of course, the addition will come with redeeming qualities, so if you like the game, you should give it a try.
