Mafia 4 Finally Confirmed by the Developers? What the Twitter Account of the Game Series Says

We’re four years away since Mafia 3 was released for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Although it gathered some fans, a lot of gamers had been complaining about the game, saying that it doesn’t match the initial expectations. Mafia 2 was a tremendous hit, and perhaps no other video game will present the world of the American gangsters from the ’50s and the ’40s better. Both the story and the gameplay were way off the charts, not to mention the graphics.

Mafia 4 is awaited by a lot of fans, and the expectations are huge. The upcoming title is condemned to be better than the blockbuster Mafia 2 and to repair the mistakes made by Mafia 3. But here’s what the official Twitter account recently said after a long time of inactivity:

As dull as it seems, it already generated a huge number of reactions, debates, and likes. The post might mean a confirmation of the arrival for the fourth game in the series, or a remastered version for one of the old titles.

Mafia 2: Definitive Edition is coming

Feedride.com was writing back in April that a definitive edition for Mafia 2 is on its way. A leaked in-game image was revealed, and you can see the full article here.

We don’t know if the Twitter post from above is referring to Mafia 2: Definitive Edition, but it surely is worth keeping it in mind. The original Mafia 2 was released in 2010, and it could be highlighted first of all for its impressive graphics for those times. Even the facial expressions weren’t left aside by the developers. However, we could also mention the legendary soundtracks, the story where a world full of crimes is unfolded, and more.

What do you think? Do you believe that the Twitter post from above is referring to Mafia 4 or to the Mafia 2 remake? Let us know in a comment!
