Leaked specs for Pixel 4 XL reveal disappointing battery life

Google is perhaps the richest company on the planet, and after many years of providing extremely useful software services like the search engine, mail, blog platform, YouTube, Android OS for mobile devices, GPS-like service, video calling, cloud service and so on, it’s now time for them to focus their attention more on the hardware manufacturing.

Google prepares the release of Pixel 4, which is expected to be not less impressive than most of the flagships from 2019. Although fans are very excited and the standards of today’s smartphones are pretty high, employees from Google don’t seem to fear competition, and they claim that Pixel 4 is going to be one Hell of a phone.

A new leak from shows poor battery life

According to the leak, Google didn’t seem to learn anything from the previous releases of its smartphones. The Pixel 4 has a 2800mAh battery, which is the same as the Pixel 3. The Pixel 4 XL comes with a 3700mAh battery, 10% more than what Pixel 3 XL had. This is truly disappointing since fans were expecting more.

Other specs

At least the rest of the specs are not looking bad. The Pixel 4 has a 5.7-inch FHD+ display, with the larger 4 XL sporting a 6.3-inch QHD+ panel. Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will feature the Google camera app 7.0 which includes some fancy technological stuff: new AR-based features like Measure Mode, “McFly” Rewind Mode and Audio Zoom. With Pixel 4 you will probably have the possibility to record what your neighbors are whispering when they gossip about you tens of meters away, and just that thought is enough to make anybody excited in buying such a handy device.

Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will most likely be released in early November of the current year, and anybody who wants to get his hands on such devices will have to spend a decent amount of money: more than 1000$ for a piece.
