A new League of Legends patch has been released. The 9.20 patch is a bit small in comparison to previous patches, but there is a good explanation for this. Fans of the competitive LoL scene know that the 2019 World Championship is ongoing, and, likely, Riot doesn’t want to implement meta-breaking changes at this point.
However, the preseason should start soon, and this means that bigger patches could make an appearance. Read below to learn more about the latest changes brought by the patch.
New skins
Players who enjoy Ashe, Darius, and Hecarim will be happy to learn that each champion will gain a new High Noon skin. A separate launch event will not be available, and players who wish to acquire the borders or rare loot, which matches them will have to complete a series of tasks and pay for the Worlds Pass.
Champion changes
Blitzcrank had its base armor and armor growth reduced from 44 to 40 and from 4 to 3.5, respectively.
Garen has received a few changes. W will now offer a shield instead of additional damage reduction for the first 0.75 seconds. E will now scale with AS, and R will always deal true damage. The Villain passive was also removed. A new passive, Perseverance, will offer health regeneration every 5 seconds.
Ivern is now a range champion, and the W will no longer increase the attack range. The basic attack range is now 475, (was 125).
Lisandra’s passive and W will gain increased ability power, up by 0.2 points. Her armor was also increased to 22.
Pantheon’s Q damage has been reduced slightly by 5,10,15 and 20 for each subsequent point.
Shaco
Basic attack and attack damage growth have been reduced. Backstab has been enhanced and will deal extra damage if enemy champs are attacked from behind. His other skills were also altered.
