This year’s first Pokemon Go update returns in big force! Niantic introduces new Pokemon and the Trade Evolution from the original series. Although the patch came announced, it was a pleasant surprise for the players.
For those who don’t know, Pokemon Go is an augmented reality mobile game made and issued by Niantic in partnership with The Pokemon Company for iOS and Android. The exciting part of the game is that it uses the mobile device GPS to locate, capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, which appear as if they are in the player’s real-world location. The game evolved a lot from 150 species of Pokémon to 500 by 2019.
What is the Trade Evolution feature?
Some of you might know about it from the mechanic in the mainline Pokemon games. This new mechanic was recently introduced to Pokemon Go, and it enables you to reduce the amount of Candy needed to evolve the traded Pokémon with your friends or strangers. Part of the characters involved in this feature includes Kadabra, Graveler, Machoke, and Haunter. If you still haven’t been able to collect much Candy, this mechanic is perfect for your game situation.
