Joker will be added to the latest installment of the notorious Mortal Kombat series, and now we can admire in all its glory a sample of his future performances. Since we all know that the character is not actually a fighter, he will be using his bag of dirty tricks in battles rather than his fists.
The legendary Joker will become available for the Mortal Kombat 11 players starting January 28 on Kombat Packs, and one week later for the rest of the gamers.
Being released somewhere during mid-2019 for PC and consoles, Mortal Kombat 11 has already been featuring some DLC characters. One of them is the legendary Terminator recreated with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s face. It’s exciting to see that the developers had not abandoned the idea of bringing iconic characters into the game after the initial release, and trying to guess what other fighter is coming next is truly-thrilling.
Who is the best Joker?
Some people are already speculating online that the upcoming Joker from Mortal Kombat 11 is a clear reference for the one played on the big screens by Heath Ledger (may he rest in peace!). But deciding which actor has played best the evil clown is a lifetime question.
Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger were the ones that have been fighting for the title long time in the eyes of the fans. Nicholson played Joker more than 30 years ago, when he conquered the hearts of fans with an unforgettable performance in the movie called simply ‘Batman’. Ledger played the legendary antagonist in The Dark Knight from 2008, which has been voted the best movie with superheroes from all time.
Overall, maybe it’s the best decision the one made by the developers from NetherRealm Studios that no actor’s face has been recreated for Joker’s character in Mortal Kombat 11. We are looking forward with excitement to see what other DLC character is coming next. Maybe Batman, by any chance?
