More news regarding the awaited iPhone SE 2 model! According to a report by Digitimes, the iPhone SE 2 could come out on the market in two different sizes. We already know Apple is working on launching a low-cost iPhone SE 2 model sometime later this year.
The smartphone is expected to be a reduced package size, including a flagship chipset, Touch ID biometric authentication, LCD, and a notch-less iPhone 8-like design. However, there are more details regarding the phone. Here we go.
iPhone SE 2 might launch in two sizes
A crucial detail about iPhone SE 2 is that it will sport 5.5-inch and 6.1-inch screens! According to the new report, the iPhone SE 2 will become in two different sizes. The original size of 5.5 and the other dimension of the 6.1-inch LCD. However, these low-budget models may not be as compact as the look-alike size of the iPhone 11 Pro, which comes in size of 5.8-inch. Or as well as iPhone 11, which comes in size of 6.1-inch, taking into consideration that they would bear prominent bezels.
Similar to the iPhone 11, the iPhone SE 2 models will use a 10-layer substrate-like PCB (SLP) for its motherboard, a printed circuit board containing the principal components of the device, with connectors for other circuit boards to be slotted.

This new version will be launched in the first half of 2021, and its dubbed the “iPhone SE 2 Plus.”
iPhone SE 2 features the flagship A13 chipset
The rumors have it that the iPhone SE2 will be powered by the flagship A13 Bionic processor, which is the same chipset that powers the latest iPhone 11 models.
The iPhone SE 2 is also presumed to come with 3GB RAM, 64GB/128GB of non-expandable built-in storage, and instead of Face ID, it will have a Touch ID home button.
