Apple is remaining very active in the hardware field and plans to continue at the same rate. For 2020 we are expecting iPhone 12, a new iPad Pro and other compelling gadgets from the notorious Californian company. But now we will talk about iPhone SE 2 and Apple AR Headset, which are also expected to be arriving at the market next year.
Fans of Apple have long wondered when the two devices will hit the stores, and now we have a very reliable source that claims their releases will both happen in 2020. Prestigious Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is the one providing us the big news.
Only a few months away
We don’t have to wait a full year for iPhone SE 2 to be launched. The successor of iPhone SE will be released in the first quarter of 2020. That means that we have to wait a maximum of five months and a minimum of two months.
iPhone SE 2 will have a powerful A13 Bionic chipset, which is also found in iPhone 11. Reports from Nikkei and Bloomberg have claimed that the SE 2 will resemble the iPhone 8 very much.
Also, a new iPad Pro is expected to be released during Q1 of 2020, according to the same Apple analyst. The gadget may have a rear-facing 3D time-of-flight sensor that could help it offer better-augmented reality performance. A more recent report from Bloomberg says that Apple is planning to release new iPad Pros later in 2019.
The Apple AR Headset is expected later
Kuo thinks that Apple’s gadget for augmented reality will arrive a bit later than the iPhone SE 2 – in the second quarter of 2020. Thus, Apple plans to compete with other giant manufacturers in the AR field, like Google, Microsoft, or Samsung.
It’s exciting to see Apple so active in manufacturing high-tech products, and we can’t do anything but wait for the final outcomes.
