It is well-known that iOS will receive a major update each year. The first beta tests for the update will start in June, but in most cases a stable version is not available until September.
Users can now download and enjoy all the new features which are included in iOS 13, but the update is accompanied by a few bugs which are quite far from being enjoyable. Apple is already working hard on a new minor update which should address most of the problems, but it is only available for developers at this point.
If you wish to skip the waiting and try the latest iOS 13.1 beta build right now, we have you covered. Follow the steps outlined below to get the update on your device.
Install the update directly on the device
Open the Safari browser and visit the official Apple Developer Program website on your device. Sign in with your Apple ID to continue.
Find the Downloads section and look for a featured Downloads section.
Tap on the download button, which is placed next to the iOS 13.1 beta. Choose the right profile for your device and start the installation process.
Wait until the task is finished and reboot the device.
Go to Settings/General/Software Update and check to see if the update was installed correctly.
Install the update with iTunes
You will have to download and install the latest versions of iTunes and Xcode on a Mac device.
Visit the official developer website and login with your ID.
Register your device by entering the UDID (it will be displayed when you connect your device iTunes, and it can be found by visiting Summary/Serial Number).
Pick the model of your device from the list and download the beta file.
Unzip the file and click on the iOS device icon which can be found in the top-left area of the iTunes app.
Hold the Option key and click on the Restore iPhone button. Wait until the task is completed and enjoy!
