This is how you make a group video call with Instagram
Open the app on your iPhone or iPad. If you have an account, log in. If not, create one, with Sign up. After you logged in, tap on the “Direct” icon that’s placed in the top right corner of your home screen. You will get to the direct message screen. There, you will see all your followers and the people you can message. On the top right corner of the screen, there is the Video” icon. Tap on it in order to start a new video chat.
On that screen, you can type the username of the user you want to call. Check the circle beside it. Then, tap on the Start button from the top of the screen, and start the video chat. In order to connect with multiple users, you can select multiple people from the list.

After you initiate a video call, Instagram creates a chat group of video call users, in which you can send direct messages. You can add a maximum of six users for a group video call. Snapchat allows you to add 16 users. Apple uses Facetime, but that’s only for Apple users. Instagram supports group video calls for both iOS and Android users.
