A lot of Dragon Ball fans had been wondering for a lot of time how Vegeta achieved the Super Saiyan God transformation. This was at its time a form far stronger than the regular Super Saiyan, and not even Super Saiyan 3 Goku could ever stand a chance against the Super Saiyan God form.
However, the first Super Saiyan God from the Dragon Ball franchise was Goku, but he could only achieve this form after his friends practically gave their powers to him. Later on, it was obvious that Vegeta surpassed the Super Saiyan God form along with Goku, by going Super Saiyan Blue. But only the dedicated Broly movie from 2018 proved to us all irrefutably that Vegeta became a Super Saiyan God. So how did the Saiyan Prince achieve the Super Saiyan God form?
Vegeta achieved the transformation the same way as Goku did
Although a lot of people would bet that Vegeta achieved the Super Saiyan God form by doing it his own way, the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot game reveals to us that the Sayian Prince did it the same way Goku. Or at least, that’s how things unfolded in the game.
Therefore, Goku, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, and Future Trunks are teaming up in a ritual to provide Vegeta with the necessary strength of becoming a Super Saiyan God:
As you can see, Beerus and Whis told Vegeta what he needed to do to achieve the ultimate form at that time. As Goku and Vegeta are now both Super Saiyan Gods in the game, the next obvious step from the developers is to make them achieve the Super Saiyan Blue form and do their best to take down Frieza. But only time will tell for sure what the next DLC for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot will bring next.
Even though Dragon Ball Z Kakarot was initially intended to feature only content from the Dragon Ball Z anime, it looks like the developers had made up their minds as they brought elements from Super as well. However, we can’t be otherwise than very excited for it.
