Once again, the Chinese manufacturers want to show to the world who’s boss when it comes to producing high-end smartphones. Honor, a smartphone brand owned by Huawei, launched its View 30 Pro phone model in China last year. But now, the beautiful gadget was presented recently at the Honor All-Scenario Intelligence Conference in Barcelona.
Yes, the Honor View 30 Pro launches globally, and it’s quite an impressive piece of high-end technology. It packs not only powerful hardware, but also 5G capabilities, impresssive camera setups on both the rear and on the front, and more.
The selfie camera rocks
Let’s face it: nowadays, camera capabilities are the most highlighted aspects of a smartphone. And the View 30 Pro truly shines at this chapter. The phone has a triple-lens camera on the rear, and it consists of a 40-megapixel f/1.6 camera, a 12-megapixel f/2.2 camera, and a 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto camera. This camera setup is also capable of laser autofocus.
On the other hand, the selfie camera of Honor View 30 Pro takes the cake. With this phone, selfie photos will be at their highest quality. The dual selfie camera setup is equipped with 32-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras. This makes the Honor View 40 Pro an ideal device for vlogging.
No Google apps and services
As a result of the ongoing US-trade ban, the new Honor phone is joining the list of Huawei-related gadgets that don’t have access to any Google apps and services. Honor View 30 Pro has the difficult mission of proving that there is life without Android apps like Gmail, Waze, Maps, YouTube, and so on.
As for the rest of the specs, Honor’s new gadget is packed with 8 GB of RAM, two versions of storage (128 and 256 GB), and a 4,100mAh battery. These specs assure plenty of games and movies stored on the phone, but the gadget’s main feature remains the selfie camera.
