While it’s still highly recommended for all of us to stay at home as much as we can, enjoying time during lockdown by playing a game like GTA 5 is a great choice. Furthermore, why not competing against other players in the online mode of the game (aka GTA Online)?
There’s an ongoing alien war in GTA Online, where players had started a funny conflict against each other. Rockstar was forced to acknowledge the virtual war, even if the company wasn’t the culprit this time.
Free ‘Martian’ bodysuits from Rockstar
If you ever wanted to be a Martian like Matt Damon did in the 2015 movie, now’s your chance! Just hurry up and take advantage of Rockstar’s offer to grab a free alien suit for your character until May 13! Rockstar itself brought us the big news via Twitter:
Green and Purple Martian Bodysuits are free in GTA Online all week long.
Grab yours and join the fight – available from any clothing store by going to Outfits: Arena War > Bodysuits.

The Alien War from GTA Online keeps ongoing, and it’s impossible to predict for how long. As Rockstar said back in 2013 about the online mode of GTA 5:
In Grand Theft Auto Online, you’ll have the freedom to explore alone or with friends, work cooperatively to complete missions, band together to participate in activities and ambient events, or compete in traditional game modes with the entire community, all with the personality and refined mechanics of Grand Theft Auto V.
Access to Grand Theft Auto Online is free with every retail copy of Grand Theft Auto V and launches on October 1st.
Until now, GTA 5 faced an unprecedented success, and its online mode keeps it up in great style. As all the gaming community is waiting for official news about GTA 6, some sources are speculating that Rockstar will prefer instead to keep improving their online mode for GTA 5 rather than releasing a new Grand Theft Auto title.
Only time will tell for sure, and GTA 5 is still a top open-world game with or without its online mode.
