GTA 6 might finally launch this year, according to some reports. Since the release of the fifth game sequel in 2013, fans are waiting for the next GTA, wondering how it will actually look like.
Rockstar Games, the game developer, had kept the silence regarding the forthcoming sequel, but some people claimed that GTA 6 was being considered even before the fifth sequence was launched. However, because of the massive success GTA 5 registered, along with Red Dead Redemption 2, the gaming studio decided to delay the making of GTA 6.
Now, a new report claims that Rockstar has posted a job position, which made fans rally that the company is planning something huge. The job listing posted by the studio notes the need for a ‘Post-Production Video Editor,’ and was uploaded on January 10th, which means a trailer could soon appear. The post did not mention GTA at all, so another game might actually be on the works.
Nothing is Clear Yet on GTA 6, However
Even so, with the forthcoming release of the next-generation PlayStation and Xbox, the company must be planning to reveal what it has to offer. The job listing notes that the applicant has to have experience in drama and documentary editing, which means that the game includes these elements. This hint indicates towards GTA, Red Dead Redemption, and La Noire.
Now, we can rule out Red Dead Redemption because the last sequel of the series has only been recently released. La Noire and GTA V were launched back in 2011 and 2013, respectively, which makes them a proper nominee.
There is more to the GTA 6 sequel. A Reddit claim that eventually got deleted said that a new GTA game could be announced in February of this year, and it was matching the ‘Project Americas’ news. February is coming soon, so we might soon receive some good news.
