First mobile Nintendo 3DS emulator- Citra now on Android

Are you searching for a 3DS emulator app? You should try out the Citra emulator app. This app works great on the PC platform. Plus, it receives updates on a regular basis, which keeps it in check. This app is an open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator and debugger written in C++.

Citra is just a great app for running 3DS games on PCs. Android also offers a few nice emulators. However, fans want something else. They want the full, official Citra app release on the platform. Sadly, this app is still under the experimental phase, but fans of 3DS games want a proper launch.

THE OFFICIAL CITRA RELEASE IS HERE FOR ANDROID

Fans want a stable Android port of the Citra Emulator on PC. And there was one available; however, it was quite unstable at the beginning. But, developers have worked on this port, and now, after a few months, it is more stable. Thanks to those so-called unofficial ports, the 3DS fans can finally enjoy the official release. It is now coming straight from the source! Citra is now available on the Google Play Store for free.

Plus, the official app comes with new features. Features that were not available in the unofficial ports. This is amazing because now the users can enjoy a complete Nintendo 3DS emulation experience. The upcoming app features amiibo support, motion controls, microphone, and camera support. On top of that, it also comes with gamepad support. But that is not all. Developers will introduce more features in the upcoming days.

CITRA 3DS AVAILABLE ON THE MOBILE PLATFORM

The real questions remain. Does Citra work on the mobile platform? How many smartphones can run the 3DS emulation? Well, according to some users, the 3DS emulation works just fine on Mario Kart 7 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. We already know from the XDA-Developers that Citra runs well on the OnePlus 8 Pro. However, what about the cheaper smartphone models?
