‘Exit the Gungeon’ Arrives on Steam

Exit the Gungeon is a spin-off for the more famous game Enter the Gungeon, and it was released to the public last year on September 19. Even though the spin-off was initially released only for Apple Arcade subscription service, we had info even from January that things will change pretty soon.

Exit the Gungeon was released on Steam yesterday, March 17, and it’s a fun way of spending time for those who don’t necessarily want a game with killer graphics. Exit the Gungeon is a fair 2D action-adventure game that, weirdly enough, still requires some decent configuration for your PC. It still accepts Windows 7, which is another surprising fact. But let’s take a closer look at its demands:

Minimum system requirements

  • Operating system: from Windows 7 to 10, x64
  • CPU: Intel Core2 Duo E4500 (2 * 2200)
  • Memory: 4 GB of RAM
  • Graphics card: GeForce 9600 GT of 512 MB
  • Storage space: 500 MB available
  • Additional Notes: Gamepad Recommended

With a gaming rig at least this good, you will get the following outcome:

However, the recommended requirements are a bit higher:

  • Operating System: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 at x64
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 (2 * 3100) or something equivalent
  • Memory: 4 GB of RAM
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 550Ti (1024 MB)
  • Storage space: 500 MB available
  • Additional Notes: Gamepad Recommended

Exit the Gungeon can provide numerous hours of exciting gameplay, and it even received some improvements along with the availability on Steam: new enemies, ‘toys’ to kill them with, and more.

The game isn’t free

Like many other things in this world, Exit the Gungeon isn’t free of charge. Getting the game on Steam requires paying a small fee of $10/£7.19. It may be a 2D game, but it’s worth the money. After all, you know what they say: nothing is actually free in this world.

Exit the Gungeon was developed by Dodge Roll and Singlecore, and published by Devolver Digital.
