Eridian Writings in Borderlands 3 and locations

Are you a Borderlands 3 fan? Then you are on the right page. Any true fan has seen at least one of the slabs engraved in the Eridian language at some point in the game. Have you ever wondered what they could possibly mean? We now have the answers to this question, so without further ado, let’s get started.

First of all, translating the slabs is not an easy job. There is a catch. You can’t decipher them in the first 18 story chapters of Borderlands 3. However, once you reached chapter 19, you have a chance at understanding them. The chapter’s name is The Great Vault, and it allows you to snatch an Eridian Analyzer to solve the slabs. Don’t even try deciphering the slabs before the 19th chapter of the game.

Whys is uncovering the slabs so important? Well, they do get you some fantastic rewards in the form of Eridian currency. You probably already noticed that your game character found all sorts of slabs so far.

How does the translating works?

The first thing a player has to do is reaching chapter 19 of the game, The Great Vault. However, before getting there, there is an obstacle that you must face: take down the boss. After finishing him, you can finally get to the Eridian Analyzer.

Remember, the Eridian Analyzer is the only item that can help you solve the difficult Eridian language slabs. What this item basically does, is converting the writings into Echo Logs. This way, you will have a chance to look at them whenever you want.

But, how to use the Eridian Analyzer, you may wonder. All you need to do is to be near an Eridian slab. The game will automatically show you the special button you need to press in order for the conversion to begin. After the slab is converted, you will get 25 Eridian money. That’s how much any slab worths, so go on and get your rewards.

What can you get for this pink currency? Visit the Sanctuary, and let your eyes wander on some specific weapons, and you will see Crazy Earl as well.
