Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is the upcoming new Dragon Ball Z game, which will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and Windows, starting early 2020. How else can a die-hard Dragon Ball fan be celebrating better the new year besides getting his hands on a brand new DBZ game? Sure, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Xenoverse, or Budokai Tenkaichi 3 have all been great fighting games, but the new game is not only about fighting. It brings a whole bunch of interesting features from the Dragon Ball Universe.
Today we get to watch the remake in-game for one of the most memorable fights from the anime: Vegeta vs. Majin Buu. This is the pinnacle when it has become absolutely clear for everybody that Vegeta has left aside his selfish desires and has become one of the good guys.

The fight shows the game’s exciting gameplay, but it’s only moments away from remaking one of the most beautiful moments in all Dragon Ball history: when Vegeta, the former villain who came to Earth to kill everyone, actually sacrifices himself for the sake of mankind. He does it even for his old rival Goku, as the Sayian Prince himself acknowledges.
It would be too bad for such an iconic moment like Vegeta’s sacrifice to not be somehow presented in the game. Also, it would be nice to see other similar emotional moments from the anime, like Piccolo’s sacrifice to save Gohan from Nappa, Gohan’s rage at Raditz or Frieza, Vegeta’s speech when he died on Namek, the moment when Goku first turn into a Super Sayian, or when Gohan destroyed Cell with the help of his father’s words.
Unfortunately, Vegeta lost that battle in the anime against Majin Buu, even after his sacrifice. It’s up to you to revenge him in the new Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game!
