Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: The Publisher Reveals Images and Details for Upcoming DLC – New Characters and Transformations

While most of us thought that no characters and transformations from Dragon Ball Super would be present in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, it is proven once again that life is full of surprises. At more than two months after being released by Bandai Namco, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is getting new characters and new powers for Goku and Vegeta.

We’re two years away after the Dragon Ball Super anime ended, although it’s expected to come back someday. But its legacy remains, providing inspiration for plenty of video games. Nobody’s hiding the fact that the show had severe critics, but it has done at least one thing right: it brought stronger characters and new powers for the good guys.

Godly powers for Goku and Vegeta

As we already knew from a piece of previous news, the upcoming DLC will bring the Super Saiyan God transformation for Goku and Vegeta. The publisher itself, Bandai Namco, made the big announcement on Twitter, to end all doubts:

After the update arrives, it’s interesting to see what characters could possibly beat Goku and Vegeta while they are on their Super Saiyan God forms.

Only Beerus and Whis can compete

None other characters can possibly compete with Super Saiyan God Goku and Vegeta. In fact, Beerus and Whis are a lot stronger than that form of the famous Saiyans, and it’s most likely that they will be more like training partners.

Although some fans might say that the update is not doing much for the game, it actually can be part of a much bigger plan. A lot of new elements from the Dragon Ball Super anime could arrive in the future to the game, like other gods, Golden Frieza, Goku Black, Jiren, Hit, and others. Only time will tell for sure.

There hasn’t been any release date announced for the upcoming DLC of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.
