Tabletop Cyberpunk Red has been Delayed

It seems that the Tabletop Cyberpunk Red has been delayed. At least, that’s what an official blog post from R. Talsorian Games says. The delay is due to the coronavirus outbreak.

What is Cyberpunk Red? Well, it is a prequel to the awaited Cyberpunk 2077, a role-playing video game. The developer of this upcoming game is CD Projekt Red. The Cyberpunk Red jumpstart kit is already available, according to Polygon. Therefore, go ahead and sign up! It looks like “all the lore needed to prepare you for Cyberpunk 2077” is part of the jumpstart kit. Plus, you can also acquire miniature figures for $30.

Read below the post from R. Talsorian Games:
“We’ll just come right out and say it. The TRPG industry got punched in the gut by the pandemic and there’s just no way we can release in June without compromising quality. We’re currently looking at summer’s end for a release but until the world calms down and things stop fluctuating, our crystal ball is full of fog.”

If you are interested in some Cyberpunk tabletop action, we suggest you watch the industry Veteran Mike Pondsmith play. There is where you can see some celebrities playing it, such as Matthew Lillard – known for playing Shaggy. Enjoy!

“Keep in mind, with both tonight’s chargen session and Mike’s game, nothing’s final until the book is at the printer. What you see might not be the final ruleset but it’ll still be a good preview and a fun time,” adds R. Talsorian Games.

What do you expect from the Cyberpunk 2077 tabletop prequel? We are pretty excited about the upcoming game release. Cyberpunk 2077 will be launched later this year. Can you believe it? The upcoming game will be available on the Microsoft Windows, PS 4, Stadia, and Xbox One platforms.
