We knew that Call of Duty developers was planning to bring a new battle-royale mode in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The Warzone battle-royale mode was supposed to come out this year in March as a Free-to-play add-on.
What does a Free-to-play add-on mean? It means that you don’t have to buy the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game to play Warzone. You can enjoy Warzone mode for free.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone Battle Royale Mode Launched
A leaker that goes by the name ModernWarzone shared his beliefs on Twitter regarding the possible release date of the Warzone mode. Call of Duty: Warzone will go live today, February 25th.
Activision has got two booths listed for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and one classified as “COD.” The last one makes us believe that it could be for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone. A second reason to think that the the COD is to host the Warzone mode could be that the other booths around it are similar to other games hosting a battle royale mode. These booths are dedicated to games like PUBG and CS: GO, which also have a battle royale mode.
Is the the battle royale mode going to be released today as the leaker suggests, or do we have to wait longer? If Call of Duty: Warzone is not going to be released today, then when will it go live?
