Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare could indeed bring the battle royale mode this year, but we don’t have an official announcement. However, even without a battle royale, this is the most successful Call of Duty title.
Bringing a battle royale mode could be a great choice, but Treyarch should make its move sooner than later. And with all the talk, data mining, and leaks of a possible 200-player battle royale in Modern Warfare, we have found one more evidence, which makes us wonder when BR will finally be released?

What’s taking so long for the Battle Royale to be released to Modern Warfare?
One of the sources cited by The Gaming Revolution stated that:
“BR was delayed from the original release date of the end of January. It needs more time. Don’t be surprised if one of three things happens.
1. Releases with season 2
2. Releases with season 3
3. Canceled as if it doesn’t release soon, it will hurt the next Call of Duty’s sales.”
We can only hope that the loading screen is good news, and Battle Royale would be released with Season 2 in February.
The Gaming Revolution also revealed the codenames of new maps coming in Season 2:
As for the Battle Royale reveal, looking at the time when Modern Warfare was announced (at the end of May), BR should make an appearance right about now. As mentioned earlier by the anonymous source, Treyarch will want to create enough hype for the next CoD game.
