Recently news about another installment of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been leaked. The next campaign for Modern Warfare 2 might be released soon, according to the South Korean rating board.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Plans of Launching
Back in 2017, we witnessed Activision Blizzard remasting the famous and praised Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Now, chances for a sequel remastering might be under development. The South Korean rating board has done more than hinting at such thing because it leaked the game.
According to the GRAC (Game Rating and Administration Committee) website, a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 installment exists. The Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered has been registered on February 26. As the name suggests, the game is only a remaster of the campaign. So, we should not expect the multiplayer mode. But, such a thing doesn’t mean the final Modern Warfare 2 Remastered wouldn’t get the mode. The listing could be separate.
All the eyes are now on Call of Duty: Warzone
The recent news about the upcoming COD project shouldn’t be, however, confused with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the relaunch of the MW series that appeared back in 2019. That’s getting right now lots of continuous content with open-ended battle passes and seasons. The free battle royale Warzone has also been added, with similar battle pass awards. The free-to-play entry appears to be so popular, reaching 6 million players in the first 24 hours.
Moreover, Call of Duty: Warzone has been considered a more squad-focused and refined installment. It features all the well-known moments of extreme action and mechanics you’d expect from a game with up to 150 players. Warzone had also introduced some exciting yet unexpected twists to the formula that even veteran players will immediately connect with them.
