BlizzCon 2019 Leak Reveals Diablo 4 Rumors That Line Up With Insider’s Information

BlizzCon 2019 is scheduled to begin this weekend, beginning with Friday, November 1 and ending on November 2. However, there have been numerous leaks ahead of the most anticipated event from Blizzard.

This time, it’s about Diablo 4. A post on Reddit detailed how the RPG will look like – story, mechanics and tone. While we must all take it with a grain of salt, considering the information is a leak and cannot 100% be trusted, industry insider Daniel Ahmad wrote on Twitter the following:

“This lines up with everything I’ve heard about Diablo IV. The game is shaping up well and is definitely what fans would want out of the game. Takes what people loved about D2 style, improves on D3 combat.”

Reddit user PracticalBrush12 revealed we’ll see Diablo 4 as a huge “wink to Diablo 2 fans,” but that it has a dark tone and includes co-op and PvP combat.

Dark And Gritty Diablo 4

The locations in the new RPG will be toned down, “infrequently laid with corpses, wasteland, greyish deserts, cult caves surrounded by flesh, rotten crypts, marshes and bogs, plagued cities.”

The leak also reveals there will be three classes – Barbarian, Mage, and Druid, and there will be rideable mounts, co-op for up to four players and some skills borrowed from Diablo 2.

Tomorrow we’ll learn if these leaks are true, since the main keynote conference at BlizzCon is going to include some information about the next Diablo installment. Considering the previous details from Kotaku, saying the studio has been working on this game for a few years, we’re sure Blizzard will reveal it this year.

Aside from Diablo 4, we’ll hear about Overwatch 2 and updates on Warcraft III: Reforged, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm and more. You can check out the full schedule in this separate article, where you can read more about the entire event.

We’ll make sure to cover the events at BlizzCon, so check back with Feed Ride this weekend!
