Last month was filled with some excellent news for all Bioshock fans. A fourth installment of the game is under development. Also, now we got even better news. PlayStation 4 owners will receive Bioshock: The Collection for PlayStation Plus, next month. It will arrive as a free item for those who choose to subscribe to Sony’s online gaming platform.
Bioshock: The Collection represents remastered variants of Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite, too. The games were launched on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. So, if you’re familiar with those installments, play them, and got the best experience, but skipped on the remasters when The Collection arrived back in 2016, now it’s the time to try something fantastic.
Bioshock: The Collection Comes to Impress
If you never experienced the Bioshock world, you must try the games as soon as possible. The first installment in the series arrived back in 2007. It was introduced as a first-character shooter game by 2K Boston and 2K Australia. The game’s concept was designed by now, Irrational Games, embodying some themes from the 20th century dystopian and utopian believers, such as George Orwell, Ayn Rand, or Aldous Huxley. The game is considered by some a somehow spiritual follower to the well-known System Shock installments.
As for the recent Bioshock: The Collection, it might be introduced on Nintendo Switch soon. PlayStation Plus is handy, mainly because it comes as a monthly subscription service. It also grants PS4 owners the ability to play games online or try one of the sleekest discounts in the PlayStation Store. Players can also enjoy a selection of free games monthly. For PlayStation Plus, players will get, as well, 2018’s Firewall Zero Hour variant, and 2014’s Sims 4, a beloved game.
