In the computers world, Asus is very popular. The Taiwanese developers released their smartphone Zenfone series back in 2014. The devices were packed with the Android system and ZenUI. However, the developers made the Zenfone 4 the first smartphone under the Zenfone series.
Recently, according to a report by Counterpoint Research, Asus is considered the best brand with a significant increase online. This information is quite a big deal, especially when the competition is so tight. Asus, however, is moving pretty slow in developing some updates. For example, the developers made available through the last update, just a significant feature, a security patch for their Zenfone Max M1.
The fact that Asus only chose to introduce a single significant feature is not so unfortunate. Compared with the fact that they also didn’t release the update for all the devices. You can check for updates manually. Try accessing your Apps, then Settings, the section About with its System Update, and finally hit Check Update. Try to install any update that will appear available.
Asus Zenfone Max M1 is working on an Android 8.0 Oreo. News for an Android 9 Pie is still unknown. There are still, however, some Asus devices that they are getting some new updates. Asus Zenfone 5z got the Android 10 beta updates, and Asus Zenfone 6 got the Android 10.
The Zenfone Max M1 was a 2018 release, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 and a 1.8 GHz Octa-core, all in an Adreno 509 GPU. The developers also made the smartphone available with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display. For its storage, Asus Zenfone Max M1 got 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, and for other versions even, 4/6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. The device has many features which make it a rival for other Android devices.
