Apple already started to promote its products via press releases. Since the pandemic kicked, the company has made a few product announcements. Nonetheless, we can’t wait for Apple’s online event on September 15, 2020.
Press releases
Back in March, we found out about the new MacBook and iPad models. April presented us with the iPhone SE model. It is the new advertising method the company has adopted since the whole coronavirus outbreak situation, and it seems like they will continue to use it for a while.
Apple’s online event details
Apple’s online event will showcase the upcoming iPhone 12 models. The announcement was made on Tuesday. The news doesn’t come as a surprise as the Apple CFO, Luca Maestri, did announce the release delay back in July. Therefore, the next iPhone is coming out later than usual, which marks 2020 as the last five years’ latest iPhone release.
Expected Products
According to rumors, Apple will launch at least four iPhone models. Fans will have a wider variety to choose from this year. The more friendly-budget models have 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch displays, while the premium models come with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. All iPhone models are said to feature OLED screens and 5G support. The difference between the cheap and premium models are camera-wise. The higher-end smartphones will more than likely come with triple rear cameras.
According to other sources, Apple is likely to launch the cheap models separately from the premium ones. Therefore, we expect the low-cost batch to launch in September or October, followed by the premium packet after a few weeks. Remember the iPhone 8 and iPhone X launch?
According to Bloomberg, the company will release a few other products, such as an iPad Air with an edge-to-edge screen, two Apple Watch models, over-the-ear headphones, and a more petite HomePod. Besides all that, we expect iOS 14 to roll out soon as well, which is also part of the Apple tradition. Apple’s online event is fast approaching, and soon we will find out more details.
